Released in 2020 as part of Tom Ford's Private Blend collection, Bitter Peach opens with peach, blood orange, cardamom and heliotrope before moving into a boozy heart of rum, cognac, davana and jasmine. The base is dense and resinous, built from vanilla, Indonesian patchouli leaf, tonka bean, sandalwood, benzoin, cashmeran, labdanum, styrax and vetiver — a fruit note pushed toward something darker and more spirit-soaked rather than fresh or juicy.

On skin the peach reads more like brandied fruit than the crisp, candied peach of many mainstream fragrances, with strong initial projection that settles into a warm, ambery-woody dry down lasting six to eight hours. It suits cooler weather and evening wear best. Alongside Lost Cherry, it's one of Tom Ford's fruit-driven Private Blends, but where Lost Cherry stays sweeter and rosier, Bitter Peach leans into rum-soaked spice and resin.
