Created by perfumer Sonia Constant and released in 2021, Ombré Leather Parfum opens on violet leaf and cedar, moves into a heart of jasmine sambac and orris, and finishes on a base of leather, woody notes and tobacco. It's a suede-like reinterpretation of leather rather than a harsh, smoky one, with the violet and jasmine softening what could otherwise be a stark, masculine accord into something rounder and more androgynous.

In parfum concentration it wears dense and long-lasting, with the leather note staying smooth and slightly powdery rather than sharp, and projection that's strong for the first few hours before settling close to the skin. It's built for cooler weather and evening occasions. Compared to the brighter, spicier Fucking Fabulous or the sweeter Tobacco Vanille, Ombré Leather Parfum is the most textural and skin-like of Tom Ford's leather-forward fragrances.
