Valentino Donna Born in Roma Coral Fantasy is the floral fruity flanker of the line, opening with juicy kiwi and Brazilian orange before moving into a heart of Indian jasmine, ambrette (musk mallow) and rose, and settling on a base of white musk and Texas cedar. It's a noticeably lighter, brighter departure from the original's oriental-vanilla character, built for a fresh, tropical, sparkling effect rather than depth.

On skin the fruit and citrus dominate early, giving a juicy, sweet, almost sorbet-like opening, before the jasmine-rose heart softens things into a clean, musky finish. Projection is moderate and longevity is more modest than the flagship or Intense, which suits its role as a daytime, warm-weather scent. Compared with its siblings, Coral Fantasy is the most overtly fruity and least ambery of the Donna flankers — a world apart from the vanilla-forward Pink PP or the smoky-tea Green Stravaganza, and best reserved for spring and summer wear.
