Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Nightvision Eau de Toilette is a sharp, green departure from the original Spicebomb, opening with green apple, cardamom, green mandarin and grapefruit before a spiced heart of black pepper, sage, nutmeg, red chilli pepper, clove and geranium, and settling on tonka bean, woody notes and roasted almonds. The crisp apple opening and restrained spice give it a fresher, more explosive contrast of green and dark than its bolder predecessor.

Where the original 2012 Spicebomb builds around heavy cinnamon and tobacco warmth, Nightvision favours bright fruit and green facets with spice kept in check, making it noticeably better suited to daytime wear and warmer weather. Performance is moderate for an EDT, with four to six hours of longevity and a sillage that projects well in the first hour before pulling closer to the skin.
