About Collectors' Edition (CED)

Collectors' Edition was produced by Wizards of the Coast in 1993 as a complete-set collectible version of Magic's earliest card pool. Its square corners and gold borders set it apart from the original printings, and these cards are not legal for sanctioned tournament play. A sealed Collectors' Edition box offers the full original Magic set, including the famous Power Nine, in one display-worthy package.
